Why I've to shutdown and restart the firewall to make the new rules effective

Hi there

I am encountering a weird problem. Every time I make a new rule (e.g to allow file sharing (NetBios) and etc), they never become effective until and unless I exit and then start the firewall again. Also, I terminated a trusted connection and tried to re-establish that (NetBios connection from another PC), I had to restart the firewall. Please help…

The version I am using is 3.8.6******

Just curious, but did you disable Windows Firewall (CIS does not do this)?
