Why is Boclean attempting so many outgoing connections?

Installed BOclean yesterday. My firewall keeps telling me that BOC425.exe is attempting outgoing connections to 74.52.200.146 and does so almost every 5-10 minutes.

Settings are at their defaults which means automatic updates are set for every 24 hours. Even then, isn’t BOC4UPD.exe the process used to perform updates?

What is BOC425.exe doing?

From my experience, when it suspects a threat, BOClean tries to investigate the matter, which is the reason for its requests to go beyond the firewall. With my firewall configuration, I give BOClean free access to the entire WWW, and BOClean really drives away some bad stuff! Hope this helps.
