Why does Safesuf remain in CIS3.8?

As I understand the buffer overflow protection has been integrated into D+, so why does the Safesuf component still remain in CIS3.8? Are these two protections different in any way? ???

My guess is that SS is still bundled with CIS due to the Ask.com toolbar, which Comodo get revenues from. You don’t need SS anymore (but of course you can keep the toolbar if you wish) as this is fully covered by Defense+ in CIS.

I would of course like to get my guess confirmed, but this far I haven’t seen any comments from Comodo staff.

You are possibly right. But anyhow SS should be removed so as not to mislead the users. The ask.com toolbar can be bundled eslewhere in CIS. I think it is understandable and acceptable for all users.
