Because your browser doesn’t have/support that particular language.

It’s not your browser’s fault! It’s your OS that doesn’t support the characters.
If you’re using Windows, you can install additional language from: Control Panel > Regional and Language options > Languages Tab > check both empty box, and press OK.

My bad, that will teach me trying to answer questions to my dads stuff when I’m off school sick. He will not be happy if he finds out. hehehe. (:TNG)
