Why can't I post in the "Backup" forum?


I just started using the Backup program. However, I noticed that new folders I created, though beneath the levels of folders I have configured Comodo to backup, do not show up in my destination directory.

Why am I asking here? The New Post button is missing in the Backup forum. I spent the better part of 20 minutes trying to find out in your FAQs or Knowledge Bases if there was a waiting period after I signed up (which I did 30 minutes ago)…nothing.

And, all I wanted to know was a simple answer to my question above.

What Browser are you using? Do you have all the required plug ins?



The main board for Comodo Backup functions primarily as a placeholder for the Help and FAQ sub-boards. The main board is non-postable by general members, as is the FAQ sub-board. All users posts should be posted on the Help sub-board, as explained here


This has been done to keep the Backup boards clean and (in our opinion, at least) well organised.

I am using Firefox and, yes, I believe all plug-ins are in place.

Be that as it may, I will follow Ewen’s advice.
