Where is Comodo Firewall v2.4.19.185??? [Resolved]

Hello everybody,

I used Comodo firewall 2.4.19.185 (updated in Nov 07 from 2.4.18.184) on my system.

I build a new system in the last days and wanted to install the latest Comodo firewall - but
I can’t find the latest version!!!
Version 2.4.8.184 is available on Comodo homepage, but no update to v2.4.19.185 seems to be
available.

Where can I find it??? What are the differences from v2.4.18.185 to v2.4.19.185???

I found related threads to this topic, but no real answers…

As I mentioned in a few posts I will NOT switch to v3 until the clear structure, the userfriendly look and feel and the streamlined capability of v2.4 is achieved. v3 is a bit of assembled chaos to me - and others, if I may believe the forums. :-\

You may try to look at filehippo.com, majorgeeks.com or downloads.com or one of the other reputable sites for it.

i am sure though someone will post and more indepth info.

Thx stillen, but you won’t be able to find v2.4.19.185… :stuck_out_tongue:

Important is to read the fully version number: the difference is 18.184 to 19.185… (:NRD)

I keep almost everything that can be kept on a dedicated programs harddisk, but i am a comodo newbie, and i have still less chance of having your 2.4.19 update that comodo won’t let me update anything with a “106” error.

I searched for a long time on the web, and i didn’t find anything:
what i mean is the only way you would be able to get the stuff would be via people “keeping everything”, they could be some ftp server or p2p.

Hi brucine, I understand what you mean, but the version I mean is NOT a download version - it is/was only availabe as an update - but that does not exist any longer.

So why is that & what happened to the newer version?

The most recent files I have are cfpupgra.exe and cpfver.dat both dated 11/23/07, everything else is dated 10/4/07. I suspect they were the cause of the automatic upgrade to 3.0 that 2.4 users experienced back then. Since that mistake has been turned off I don’t think you need to worry about the 19.185 version. You’re not missing a thing. :smiley:

As far as I know Ed_P is right. The .185 update made the upgrade from 2.4 to 3.0 possible. So .184 is the most recent version :slight_smile:
