Where are all the "trojans" gone?

Hi,
I have the feeling, that CIS does not detect as many “trojans” as in former times.
When you look at the “anti-malware database”

you will see, that the number of detected trojans is decreasing rapidly.

In former times, CIS detected at least 1000 trojans a day and only few “unclassified malware”.

Might it be, that Comodo does not really want to improve the detection rate of antivirus and relies more on defense+???

I think they don’t have the manpower to classify all the malware. Most of the trojans are under “UnclassifiedMalware”.

I don’t care if the malware caught with a special named definition or it says unclassified malware. the most important thing for me that it should be detected

That's because comodo had a hugh backlog and is about caught up :)

I also agree, who cares what what they call it. Do they really need to give all the malware some type of fancy names like some other AV companys do as soon as it's detected

Would it have made you feel better if they called that one trojan as khole.AA@7928722 instead of unclassified@8297092.
