Whats Your Security Setup?

:frowning:

Maybe CVA is suspended for the fact that its comming into v4!!

I have used Comodo since version 3, recently I have struggled to get used to it again.

So I will wait for version 4, then try Comodo again - I heard version 4 will have a new interface? Is that true?

Im currently just using CIS in antivirus config. But as soon as Geswall becomes 64bit compatible ill be using that.

Yes new interface is comming with v4.

Okay, thanks.

!ot!
Will it have changeable themes?

Normally yes

eXPerience

Sorry to be a poo bum… But can we please stay on topic?
Almost a whole page is OT :-\

That is exactly what I use.

Im using :

CIS (Without CAV) D + clean pc mode
Avira antivirus
Spyware terminator (without antivirus)

Rising Internet Security
Spyware Terminator (real time), Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware(on-demand)
FireFox with add-on WOT

http://www.smileycons.com/img/emotions/88.gif

CIS 3.11 complete,SUPERAntiSpyware(real time),Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware(on demand),AVZ(on demand),Sophos Anti-Rootkit(on demand).

K…

malwarebytes, spybot,Sophos Anti-Root,Securna,Bealearic adviser, tune up 9 ,cc cleaner, glarys, hijack this…all on demand.got adaware and superantispyware somwhere too …i like to check one against the other

comodos firewall pro , g data anti virus, bit of a hog methinks though recently changed from avg

i run chrome and flock browsers

im a bit of a tester lol.always checking out zdnet / sourceforge, major geeks for cool tools .tend to have max of 30/32 processes running .

I counted about 13 security programs! :o

I have two. ;D

NAT (ADSL modem in “Router mode”, though firewall is disabled).
Windows XP’s DEP in OptIn mode.

Admin account:

CF (Comodo Firewall) v3.11, HKLM autorun is turned off.
Firewall in Custom mode, with default global rules, alerts’ sensitivity set to “high”, ARP cache protection is on.
Defense+ is in paranoid mode, Proactive security config, “block unknown requests if application is closed”.

DrWeb CureIt on-demand scanner, BitDefender OnLine scanner.

Guest account (LUA):
NTFS ACL of cfp.exe is modified to deny cfp.exe’s execution, i.e. CF runs without GUI and blocks unknown stuff silently.

though firewall is disabled

Why?

Slightly different from previous post.

Free On-Access scanners:

  • Avast 4.8 Home Edition (5 when released).
  • Online Armor Free

Web-Browser Protection:

  • Sandboxie
  • Javacool’s SpywareBlaster

Free On-Demand scanners:

  • Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (weekly quick scan)
  • SUPERAntiSpyware (monthly full scan)
  • a-squared (scan on rare occasion)
Slightly different from previous post. Wink

It’s basically the same from your first post.

Well, modem acts as local DHCP server and has WAN address. Inbound internet “noise” (numerous incoming connections) cant access two local computers which have LAN addresses (192.168.1.x)… Despite modem’s hardware firewall is disabled.
NAT is a very useful thing even if built-in firewall is disabled

So, i have no use of CF’s global rules… only maybe to guard my computer from malicious traffic from other home computer ;D

COMODO Internet Security (Firewall, Antivirus and Defense+)
SpywareBlaster
Secunia PSI (previously CVA)
Opera and Firefox
