What's up with CIS virus \ malware naming?

I now that for an avarage user virus \ malware name doesn’t mean anything, but more advanced users may use it to find more info about what the virus does and maybe how to manually get rid of it.

Now I find CIS virus naming pretty strange. Take a look at 2 screnshots below, those are detection of the same file by CIS 6.1 and virustotal, as you can see in virustotal results (comodo line) we have a name that can be searched (more or less), while CIS name is…ummm…well it’s some kind of exploit…

What’s up with that?
