its one question that disturbib my mind for quite a time

i know that if i block a file with defense+ i can see the file in my computer but i wont be able to use it.

and when i put in quarantine with the antivirus.
its simply like dissapear or transfer to some isolated location (im not sure)

but still i dont understand.

is how quorantine a file wish antivirus is protection my computer.
and how block it with defense+ is help me protect my computer

and whats the diffrense betwin them?

Hello

Block a file with defense+ pretty much removes all permission(s) of the file so that only CIS Can Access it

Block a file with Antivirus moves the file to %programfiles%\comodo\Comodo internet security\quarantine* and removes the permissions of the file so that only CIS can access it;

Why there are two ways to do it; because if you don’t have the antivirus component you can use defense to do such thing;

so u saying they both giving the same protection but in diffrent way?

Pretty Much;
Defense+ is a bit stronger then Simple Quarantine; but the file still can be accessible booting to a different OS (Dual Boot) or LiveCD

Quarantine actually moves the file to a different location
