Gang, I’m really confused here and I apologize. I know the subject has been beaten to death. I downloaded and installed Comodo two days ago and all works well with Avast. We downloaded Comodo on my brother’s PC about five days ago (he’s using AVG) and he can’t access mail in OE. The version of Comodo that was supposed to fix the AVG/Comodo bug is 2.2.0.11 (I think). The version I have is 1.0.0.4. Why do both of us have this old version, straight off the Comodo site? Also, I’d like to fix his AVG problem if I can, but going through the Comodo windows, I can’t find this check box everyone is talking about. Do we have the wrong versions? Any help would be appreciated. My brother is a bit miffed as he ditched ZA in favor of Comodo on my recommendation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well gang, after more putzing about in Comodo, I was able to find the check block everyone’s been talking about. I still don’t understand why my version is showing to be so old.

Sorry Gang, We have the correct version. I was getting the version from the Launch Pad (weird that it would be different). All is well. Tempest in a teapot and all that. ;D

Bronson, you may want to be informed that the final 2.3 release is due tomorrow with exception if any drawbacks occur, and will have many fixes. I have been using beta 2.3 and no problems at all.

Hahaha, no. I was just asking him whether he has additional problems that requires help from the Comodo community or not. 
If I can help to develop such a software, I would be rich.
