CIS keeps notifying me that an update is available but I already have 5.5.195786.1383. Any idea what’s going on?
Hi.This happens to me when i see an update icon in the tray next to the main icon.I understand it is the updater for the Signatures which seems to happen if i leave the computer for a while and not use it and return.Dont think its for a version update or anything as nothing happens if i click on it.
Is this whats happening to you?.

No, it’s the program update notification. This machine doesn’t have the AV.
Have you let it update? It’s probably an update to the trusted vendor list.
No. My trusted vendors list is very small and I want to keep it that way.
If you no longer want to see the alert, your only option is to disable Automatically check for program updates in More → Preferences → General.
