I have already read a few threads asking the same question, but none of them clearly answer the question, so I still don’t understand the difference.
Could someone please give a clear explanation?
The Purge button will create a list of files that no longer exist on your computer and offer to automatically “remove” them from the list.
The Remove button will simply remove any entry you currently have checked, regardless of any other criteria.
The action of removing is only in-context of that list. Nothing outside of that list will change when you “remove” something.
This should be the case for any list with a Remove & Purge button.
