What is ESigilBho (ESigil.dll)?

There is a post entitled “Control Panel pausing”, in which I indicate that the “solution” is to disable ESigilBho (ESigil.dll). Since the verification process appears to be working even with this component disabled, can someone please tell us what this component is for and whether or not it is essential?

Thanks.

Esigil.dll is a VE component.
Sigil=Seal in Latin… :slight_smile:
so we use this as a name for our files for Verification Engine.

thanks

Thank you, Melih, but I think we need to know if we’re sacrificing something by disabling this component. Again, since verification appears to be working without it, are we doing anything bad by disabling it? If it’s enabled, it take Explorer 5 seconds to start every time, and this is a nuisance.
