What I would like to see in the FW....

Here is the features I would personally like to see in the Comodo Firewall.

  1. Total downloaded for the hour/day/week/month
  2. It would be nice if it showed the data rate like in Kerio PF.
  3. Also you might want to consider adding Windows Media Center to your automatically allowed list as well as the Xbox 360.
  4. An ICS(Internet Connection Sharing) mode. Currently the FW must be disabled for ICS to work.

These features in my opinion would literally make your firewall untouchable. Congratz on making a very great product so far!!! Keep up the good work. ;D

If you run through the Trusted Network Wizard, it will create Network Monitor rules that will allow ICS to function.

If you want to post about this in the Help section of the Firewall forum, someone will help you. CPF does not have to be disabled in order for ICS to work. There are just some rules to create in order to allow it.

I don’t actually use ICS anymore I just noticed it a little while back.

I just wanted to make sure you were aware that ICS will work with CPF. In addition to the Network Rules needed for the computers involved, I understand that you have to allow multicasting (IGMP) protocol between them in order for ICS to work, which will require an addition network rule.
