What colleges offer a Degree in Security Systems and Computer Forensics

I have a friend living in Hong Kong that would like to attend college again in the United States with a Degree in Security Systems, with emphasis on prevention and detection. He thought it might be found within a Criminal Justice degree at some colleges.

Does anyone have suggestions as to which colleges for him to contact ? :THNK

He says he messed up and and while attending college in upper New Your state took Physic Engineering his first term and then switched to Computer Science.

He also wants to take some courses to get needed subjects and his grades back up to A’s and B’s.
Hopefully a few of the colleges you recommend might have courses he can take over the INTERNET and then come to the U.S. and attend college. And as with most of us, Grants will be needed.

Thank you for any information I can pass on to him.

Melih,
Thank you for your reply. With all those that read the Comodo Forum those that are using Comodo Software and those that are just wanting to stay abreast as to what is going on here,

I thought at least 7-11 readers, might know of educational institutions that offered degrees in this area :BNC

Hi UncleDoug

Here’s a University in Florida that can help you.

http://www.scis.nova.edu/masters.html

Or try the academic catalogue at www.petersons.com to find more colleges and universities.

Peace.

Jaki, sorry for the long delay in responding. I was hoping that a few others working in Computer Security might have responded by now.

But in Wilders Security I only got one response to this question there also. Had hoped to at least have gotten 3-4.

Is SCIS Nova like a tech school and wondered how there job placements were?
Any other Campuses, cost of living in Miami might be higher than in other locations.

We got the Petereons Catalog and looked through it and sent information on a few to him,

Again Thank You for responding

Hi UncleDoug

Nova SouthEastern University is in Fort Lauderdale, FL not Miami. The cost of living in Fort Lauderdale is pretty reasonable such as housing, food, and entertainment etc… Nova is not a Tech school per se; however it is one of the best universities in the state of Florida providing a wide variety of majors. More importantly it has an excellent reputation. I think the following two programs will be perfect for your friend.
