lost of similar files in my pending files. should I just purge all that stuff?

Welcome to the Forums, Msongs.
Near as I can tell, they are placed there by the Windows installer. They are native images for an assembly. These files cannot be added directly to the MSI package. Instead, it needs to be done through a .NET executable(ngen.exe).
You should be able to Purge to remove any non-existent files from this list.
