When I sign a message from out side of my company using thundrerbird and open it in outlook in my company the message is authenticated correctly.
I f I install it in outlook and send it to one of my coworkers it says it invalid.
If later I send a message from outside with thunderbird to that coworker and later send it form inside then is validated.
It means I need first to send an email from outside to all my coworkers in order the inside get validated.
If I install it in outlook and send it to one of my coworkers it says it invalid.
Not sure how your doing this, so that might be the issue.
Please make sure you are exporting the certificate from Thunderbird, with the private key, and importing it into Outlook.

If the export import doesn’t resolve the issue, I would recommend submitting a ticket to support, with screenshots of what you are seeing.
