I’m having some trouble with installing extensions from the chrome webstore.
Every extension I try to install fails. The computer says “This package can only be installed from the Chrome Web Store”
the strangest thing is I can install a “theme”.

Try this: Go to Dragon options - Under the hood, and in Privacy section turn off the “Enable phishing and malware protection”. This allowed me to install the Offline Google Mail app (I was getting the “This package can only be installed from the Chrome Web Store” too). You can enable it again after installation.
it doesn’t work… i tried to install angry bird but I am getting the “This package can only be installed from the Chrome Web Store”
sorry guyzz… i restart the browser and it worked… i was stuck in this since v14 ■■■■…got solution in v16.1… LOL
i had this problem and found if you uncheck “Do not allow websites to know where you came from (suppress HTTP Referrer header)” it usually will fix the problem

Yes, the Referrer is the correct option to disable, I completely messed that up in my post
