Vista Total security 2011 issue

Hi everyone,
tts.exe trjoan seem to have caused me to have the vista total security 2011 rogue spyware.
It only seems to affect one user account.
I think I have removed it, by using spyware doctor but now programs will not start without selecting them from the Programs folder and running them as Adminstrator. For example IE8 does not work.
Here is the Hijack this log I have just run- any help would be appreciated
thanks
Gary

Spyware Doctor is not one of the best antispyware programs and it is also a resource hog, so I suggest you to uninstall it and use classical AV for resident protection (Avast, Avira, Comodo…). I suggest you to run a scan with MBAM, SUPERAntiSpyware and Hitman Pro.

Fix this item in HiJackThis, unless you know it is safe:

  • O4 - HKLM..\Run: [Monitor] “C:\Program Files\LeapFrog\LeapFrog Connect\Monitor.exe”

thanks DM,
I run vipre normaly and generally find that has been ok.
Do you have any idea why I am unable to run programs without choosing the run adminstrastor option.
It seems the user account has been corrupted.
thanks
Gary

You can run sfc /scannow command in Command Prompt that will scan for corrupted system files after you make sure that all malware is removed.

Please follow the steps I suggest in this post and let me know what you find.
