virus update fails at 5-9 % , CIS Pro V4.1.150349.920

1.CPU: AMD 64 bit

2.OS: XP Pro x64 SP2- no SP3 ever released by MS for 64 bit (; 5Gb Ram

3.Actively-running security and utility applications
CIS Pro was : 4.0.141842.828
Virus definition: 5307
I then updated to
CIS Pro updated to 4.1.150349.920
Virus definition: 1

4.Specific symptoms of the bug, and steps you can take to reproduce it (step by step).

i had to totally uninstall all cocmodo s/w and reboot several times
i install the latest version i could find ie CIS pro V4.1.150349.920
see attached screen shots
reboot

summary page shows virus definition as out of date.
run the updated and it consistently fails anywhere between 5-9% d/l never finishing.

I have NO problems d/l with IE Firefox, email etc. Only the comodo updates :frowning:

Reboot the machine produces the same results
uninstall and reinstall cause the same results

TECH support- PLEASE provide a means to manually d/l updates and VIRUS updates off your web page

reboots do not help
there are NO solns on the web or forum page
There are no means to manually d/l updates
manual “check for updates” in MORE tab results in the same failure to download
Many other web forum users report the same bug. No solns or suggestions work for me or others!

i can’t find any means to get CIS pro to update them or a manually way to do so.

does anyone know how?

Please try to reinstall the COMODO Product, you can find download and instructions on Internet Security Products From Comodo | PC Security Software

You can place the bases.cav into
C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\scanners
