virus signature database not updating in versions 3.5.57173.439 get

I am getting a virus signature database not updating in version 3.5.57173.439 get an Error 108 when try to update manually…says is problem with connectivity which has been reset through ISP to make sure that it was working properly.

Can anyone instruct me on what I need to do to update.

That version is no longer supported for updates and has not been for quite some time. You need to catch up and get 3.13.

I did, I wasn’t aware of the fact that the version 3.13 came after 3.5 usually numerical order goes up…and I see that the problem continued and I searched through the postings and rectified it Myself.

In numerical order 13 comes after 5. Are you mistaking numerical order with string sort order where the string "5 " comes after the string “13”?

Yes the current version is 3.13 not 3.1.3
