I set up a schedule scan to happen at 1am. How do I know if it actually happened.

Currently, CIS uses selective logging to log only ‘important’ events (e.g. detections, moves to quarantine, etc.), so there is no way to tell. CIS’s logging ability will expand in the future.

It is simple really just check the log.


The log doesn’t stay open if there were no detections. So if it didn’t detect anything, there is no way to tell if it actually scanned.

This is the reason I set scans to happen during the day.
