I have been getting a little pop-up message several time a day saying that the virus database is being updated. Is this normal? i.e., to have the database updated 4 or 5 time in a day?
Also, does the free version of the Internet Security (i.e. virus and firewall) offer real time virus protection, or only after the fact when a scan is run.
Yes, that is normal. It can update as often as every 30 minutes.
The free version is the complete suite. It does offer full real-time protection.
