Hi there…I installed Comodo Internet Security recently…virus database update gets stuck at 30%…shows no progress beyond that…tried it for 3 days upto 3-4 hours each time…just doesnt go beyond 30% >:(…can anyone help please???..thanx…<<< rush >>>
If you are using V3.14, the up date only SEEMS to be stuck at 30%, but it is actually doing something.
The 30% mark is where the actual download has completed. From this point onwards, the process is merging the downloaded updates into the pre-existing databases. It si slow and it is frustrating that it doesn’t display a more linear progress meter. This has been rectified in V4.
Just let it run - it will eventually get there.
