hello first sorry if i have posted in the wrong section. ??? second i am using your cis v5 in my pc working great. and antivirus is not bad really good ;D :-TU. but my problem is my pendrive infected with virus. your cis says malcrpyt.indus@105441913. ??? and the real file name is I:\cirbu\slavica.exe >:-D??? and it says it quarantined :Dbut when i check the quarantined program there is nothing :o(i.e. no file in the quarantine) as well i try to delete with cis it says failed :‘(becoz of disk write protected. ??? can anybody help me on this problem on how to remove the virus :’(or how to disable write protected 88) so that i can delete the virus manually. :P0l i really appreciate any kind input in this matter and advancely thanks for all of your helps. :a0

First confirm it is malware by uploading the file to VirusTotal. After you are certain it is a file you want to delete you can download FileASSASSIN. This should allow you to delete any file, just be careful you don’t delete an important file as the file cannot be recovered.

To be on the safe side. Disable “autorun” before doing that (since I don’t what version of windows your using, this will do the job for you) :-TU

hello people first of all thanks for your replies. second i already tried every thing you people just said. try to delete it with malwarebytes fileassassin and even every antimalware product in the market. but no luck. so anyother idea please. even tried unlocker program and try to format but it give me warnong disk is write protect for this i searched google, got advice to do registry change for storagedevice but no luck stuck like glue to my pan drive, better i will wash it in washing machine with powerful detergent in the market thats only going to be last resort for me ;D >:-D

Maybe I’m missing something, but why you just take ownership of the folder and change the permissions. If you don’t know how to do that, just ask :slight_smile: <–if you do ask, tell us which windows version your using.

P.S. You could always reformat the pendrive. Take all your important NON-INFECTED FILES and burn it to a disc, then reformat the USB pendisk

i will wash it in washing machine with powerful detergent in the market thats only going to be last resort for me
Don't bother using generic washing machine detergent :o :■■■■ I learned that the hard way :'(
