The source ip address in active connections is ‘192.168.xxx.xxx’, just like a router.
With a firewall, is it like having a virtual router?

I dont understand what your asking here? what is a virtual router? try rephrasing your question please
All IPs under Source in the Firewall’s active connections window are all 192.168.Watever.Whatever just like a router IP range.
Installing Comodo Firewall did not change anything to that the 192.168.x.y. IP numbers where already used by your system.
In this case it’s one of the ‘Private’ IP ranges that can be used ‘Private (home/office)’ but won’t route over the global Internet.
A router is nothing more than a traffic agent that knows the direction your packets are headed.
If your PC decides the packet is not for the local LAN network it directs it to the ‘Default gateway/Router’ that will pick it up, look in the destination header and match that with a table.
The table says Okay I know that route this packet has to be forwarded to Interface X of the router to get to it’s destination.
Then the next router inspects the packet and does the same until the packet reaches the last router and ends op on the destination.
Just to get your 192.168.x.y packet out on the internet it uses ‘Network Address Translation’ to change the 192.168.x.y to some IP that routes over the internet.
In home networks mostly the same address as your routers external interface which you can find by browsing to e.g. www.whatsmyip.org
