View Active Connections - empty list

Hi everyone,
i hope i can get this solved!
I’ve been using Comodo Firewall since a while, and everything was just fine.
But a couple of weeks ago i noticed that the “view active connections” panel wasn’t showing any results.
And this is kinda odd, as i’m sure there are active connections, i mean, i can surf the web and sync dropbox and everything else as usual, lol.
Any tip on how to solve this?
I don’t think it’s a bug, most likely it’s caused by some bad settings or conflicts on my machine.
I’ve recently installed a couple of vpn programs (tunngle and hamachi) and played around with “network connetions” settings page in Windows 7 control panel. Could that be the cause?
Thanks in advance for the answers!

It’s a bug. :-\

So… i just wait for an update i guess?
No other options i think, except for reverting to a previous version… right?

Well thanks anyway!

It’s been happening over versions. Not sure if there is a version to return to to get it functioning properly.

With the upcoming v6 Killswitch will be used to monitor network traffic. It’s best to use something else than Active Connections window in CIS.

I am running CIS 10.0.1.6029 on Windows 10.

I am having the same problem that the View Connections window is empty but I can connect to internet with no problem at all. The traffic animation stays at 0 Bs and there is no movement.

Is this still a bug or is there a way to fix this?

Thank you.

Please try a clean uninstall/install to see if you still have this issue.

I did uninstall and reinstall back. It is still the same. View Connections windows is still empty, but my internet connections are fine.

Any other idea to fix this?

Hi Arwadi,

Please provide your diagnostic report. Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,
PremJK

Hi PremJK,

Now I have the traffic animator works normally and the View Connections window also shows many connections. What I did was using COMODO Removal Tool 2014 - Mods version to remove the previous installation and reinstall the new version.

However, when I run Diagnostic, I got a message that some error cant be fixed, and there was Create Report button to create the diagnostic report. Enclosed is the report file. Why does the Diagnostic still say there is some problem?

Thanks.

It could be a temporary issue with file lookup service (FLS), your diagnostic report indicates a failure to connect to FLS using TCP but works with UDP.

Thank you, futuretech.

If there is no other way we can do, let’s hope the temporary issue with FLS will fix by itself.
