I just started with CB to see how it works. I do my personal check by trying to sunch some files over the last 72 hours - PC was on the whole time.
The on-line backup and sync are just horrible.

SLOW
First it is very slow. At the moment I am trying to check how far the 170 MB synch went. The CB is already checking the 290 folders with 4,000 files for TWO HOURS! Really?! TWO HOURS and still ongoing?!
Finally it took more than 3 hours: http://imgur.com/czsjQ.
And now 2,5 h after “Starting file synchronization” there is not a single file transferred. Yet. Ah, of course - there is nothing going on my network, everything loads as fast as usual, ping to yahoo.com is 150ms. to ccloud.com - 56ms.
CB performance is absolutely not acceptable. -
INFORMATION BLACKOUT?
But let’s say they have server problems and that’s why it is slow. I just saw a post from an user suggesting that. Fine. But why NOBODY announces that? Why should I waste time and effort to find that servers are slow? Even games have the courtesy to announce the health of their servers, but a backup company cares not to? Strange, very strange. -
UNRELIABLE SOFTWARE
Moreover, I am 100% sure that the synch was not full. I saw several times the CB to report 100% success only to go back to 52% when I restart the synch manually. If the feedback for my backup is not reliable what should I think about the reliability of the data itself?
Sorry, this service is sub-par.
I will come back to this post to check for convincing answers, explanations and plan how Comodo is going to fix these issues in another 3 days.
