I have version 3.0.13.268
I believe there have been a couple of updates since then (3.0.17…?)
However, when I click on the update function in my version, it returns a message of no updates available.
Should I d/load the program again manually or are these newer versions not available?

There were some earlier problems with update that I believe included your current version. You should download the latest version manually, and I would recommend an uninstall and reinstall because of the recent changes in v16 and v17. You will need to reenter your settings, but there have been significant changes that warrant doing that anyway.
