Hi
It would be very useful if the DATE of release could be shown against every software version release.
This applies to both the locked post by Ark dated 17 March, and also the official list at
Comodo Firewall | Get Best Personal Firewall Software for $29.99 A Year which gives dates for only the last two releases.
When I search the forum for information on “features” I wish to avoid, I get frustrated whenever I find a post which is fully relevant, but is from some fool who never bothered to read or obey instructions, and totally refrains from identifying what version it applies to. I may then look at the date he posted, and from that I SHOULD be able to deduce the version he used so I can determine if this is earlier or later than the version I am using, or if it applies to a version I am thinking of downloading.
There are two problems in deciding what version he is using :-
- he may be using a version that was obsolete at that time (you already know my opinion of him !!!)
- the release notes / version histories generally do not give release dates for comparison with posting date.
Item 2 is under your control, and I would appreciate it if it could be fixed.
