vendor.sha : the system cannot find the file specified

I accepted the automatic update and nothing seemed to happen so I ran a manual update which found something but when I click next I get the message -

vendor.sha : the system cannot find the file specified.

I get the feeling that the automatic update ■■■■■■■ something up.

Anybody able to offer some advice please?

Same problem here.

Hey and Welcome Lardboy and cmc!

Look at the link that’s in my signature.

@Valentinchen,

Thanks and please clarify the following from your referenced (previous post):

“…now you delete all files besides the files that are called pending, now copy what’s in database_CIS in database.”

Do you mean just to place FOUR files in the zip file in the CSI folder (overwriting exist. files) or, do you mean to delete all files in CSI folder and place ONLY the four files in the zip file in the CSI (database) folder?

Thanks in advance

I’d hold off on that cmc, looks like they’ve either fixed it, or the servers were just getting hammered. My update just went through.

HeffeD,

Thanks for the heads up. I did attempt to update again and it DID go through.

I guess Patience was needed.

Regards,

“…now you delete all files besides the files that are called pending, now copy what’s in database_CIS in database.” Comment: I must update it. I apologize for confusing you.

cmc… I meant what I wrote. first delete the files that are in database and then copy the files that are in Database_CIS (pending files exists in my comodo’s database and I thought that all users had it) . I only wanted to answer your question. I am sorry if I confused you; it’s not my intention.

HeffeD… I am happy to see that comodo fixed it. I hope you understand that I am trying to help and not confuse or cause any problems.

I will update it and later erase my link that’s in my signatures and the topic when I have seen that this problem is solved.

Regards,
Valentin

Valentinchen,

Thanks for the clarification. Just needed a clarification as “I” did not want to misinterpret your intent. You need not to be sorry for helping and devoting time here. No problem at all and thanks again.

Regards,

Thanks for the help all.

As stated by Heffed the problem’s fixed now.

I am happy to hear that the problem is solved. :-TU

Have fun with comodo!
