Has V3 been compatibility tested with NAV 2008? I installed V3 (after first removing Zone Alarm (free) firewall and find that NAV does not recognize Comodo as an “advanced firewall”. Symantec won’t answer the compatibility testing question. Both apps appear to function normally, however, Norton displays a warning that no advanced firewall is installed and I can’t turn the warning off.
I stopped using Symantec products over 5 years ago. Avast Home free is alot better.

I can’t speak for NAV2008; the last NAV product I used was SystemWorks from around 2005.
I stopped using it because at the time Norton products had a reputation of causing problems, but from what I have read it seems like they have turned around with their 2008 line.
I can however speak from personal experience about Symantec’s (Norton’s parent company) line:
Symantec Endpoint Protection, with the firewall disabled, works very well with Comodo Firewall Pro v3.
It’s the weekend over here, so it may take a few days to get an “official” reply, but someone will give you a definitive answer shortly!
