V engine not verifying

I have a problem with Verification engine.Despite uninstalling and reinstalling several times it is not verifying sites when i point at site logo. It fails to verify even COMODO logo. This has not always been the case as the problem first come to light when i had problems getting updates.I have COMODO internet security which was installed shortly after release to try and solve this problem.What am i doing wrong ? Can you please try to install the latest version of VE.
If it doesn’t work please give following information so that we could start to work on the issue on your PC:

  1. OS
  2. what Service Packs do you have
  3. what browser do you use
