Hi. I posted a question in the HELP section under Comodo Firewall and was helped right away. The last one to post in that thread was me and I had a few more questions about the same topic so I just used Modify to add them to the end of the post. Since I did this, will anyone know on your end that Modify was used and more was added to the post that I needed help with???
No, someone would have to manually notice that the topic had changed and had unresolved questions. I don’t think it would register as unread either. Post the URL to your topic here.
Cancel that, I found it… I merely missed the post (not just the subsequent modify). Now I see, no I wouldn’t have realised that all that was tacked on.
Glad I asked that question. Guess if I want to add anything I might have to double post but I am not sure what this forums rules are on double posting. And I didn’t want to start another thread when what I was asking had to do with what I originally posted.
You should have made a new reply in your topic, that would be seen as unread & be flagged. In this case, a topic that I responded to, I’d also get an email notification. If I remember, we were waiting for a high severity event to occur & be logged.
There are no rules for double-post (unless it was an accidental duplicate of an existing thread with the exact same words, then we might remove it). You might’ve seen “bump” posts - we don’t prohibit them either. So there you go - set yourself free…like an angel (:AGL)

Thanks, will know what to do next time around.

That was why I used Modify in the first place. I posted 2 High severity events so someone could tell me what they were. I believe you responded and told me what they were.
True, I did respond. But, only after the creation of this topic had drawn my attention to it.
