User Interface - Why not a Find or Search?

What is it with the User Interface, and why doesn’t Comodo provide the most basic facilities.

When, for example, I open the ‘Defence+\Advanced\Computer Security Policy’ dialog page, I’m typically presented with a long (often a very long) list of policy definitions for applications and predefined policys.

Great, no problem. The reason I love Comodo is because it’s so flexible, and at the same time has solid default settings to choose from.

What I can’t get my head around, when Comodo has put together such a technically outstanding product, why is the User Interface is so Clunky?

Meanwhile, back in the ‘Defence+\Advanced\Computer Security Policy’ dialog page, why can’t I search for the application I’m interested in. And who ever come up with the (largely undocumented) idea that in the top line I have to type the path (If I know it! - again in a really quirky way) to find the app of interest.

What is this nonsense, was it designed by one of the children, or favourites of the CEO and is sancrosant - never to be changed. A search option would be easy - so why not?

Anyway, when I’ve located the app of interest and made a change, I then have to click Apply, I then have to click Apply, I then have to click Apply, I then have to click Apply, I then have to click Apply, I then have to click Apply, I then have to click Apply, I then have to click Apply.

I loose count!

Great Application, Lousy Interface

Well trying to find things in Comodo is very hard but do what i do and put it on your desktop for easy finding.

its a systematic interface.

whenever someone else is painting a picture, you have to look one time carefully to see all the things in it. i am fine with comodo like it is.
i dont miss a search feature (i know 5 files that i had to search, and that only because i wanted to block them before i get a question… i dont see a need for a search option for this).
