I have Chromium 36.1.1.3, and trying to install the 48.12.18.254, but got a message instead.
The message is in the image bellow.
so if I click OK it goes to this link, but the version is 45!
Is there anything else that solves my problem?

Hi bluery,
First back up important user data, bookmarks etc in case something goes wrong.
Try downloading and running the installer (Version 48) from the following link and see if it gives an upgrade option.
Direct download estimated 50.7 MB.

It still gives the same message!
But I’ll wait for the next release where this is fixed, and uninstall the old version and install the new version.
