When I first downloaded and installed COMODO INTERNET SECURITY PREMIUM (FREE EDITION), virus definition updates (signatures) could be downloaded and installed without any problem. Now the update window says ERROR…THE SERVER THREW AN EXCEPTION. Definition (signature) updates will no longer download and install. Can anyone tell me what is causing this? How can it be corrected? This problem is not occurring on my other computer at all.

What version of CIS do you have? Have you only recently installed CIS? Have you tried a system reboot?
