Updater stuck(?) copying signmgr.dll

I’m new to Comodo firewall…just installed today. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. After I installed I was notified of an update available. I started the update, and now it has been stuck on “copying signmgr.dll” for a few hours now. How long can it take to copy a dll file??

I have the same problem. Seems the latest updater has a bug.
Cancelled the update, ran the diagnostics and it found no problem.

Seems to be working OK so far.

Hi, I had the same problem over the last few days but the update finally worked for me after restarting. I don’t know if Comodo fixed the Problem or if it was due to the fact that I had disabled “Driver Signature Enforcement” in Windows 7 via F8 during startup. Just a thought…

Can you take a look at the version number of signmgr.dll in the installation folder of CIS and in the repair folder?

File version 5,5.64714.1382
Product verson 5,5,195786,1382

same in both folders.

Apparently signmgr.dll has the required version number. So I think the installer got stuck after copying the files.

You can manually check if all executables have version number 5,5,195786,1382 to be 100% certain the process was successful.
