Updater never runs if you log on as non-adminstrator

For obvious reasons, my normal Windows 7 Professional (SP1) user account does not have admin privilege. Comodo runs with this account and updates AV patterns without problems. However, the firewall updater never runs. If you try to run it manually (More > Check for Updates), nothing happens.

I found I was running on v5.5. So I logged on as an administrator and ran update manually. It updated it to 5.8!

This seems like a bug since either the updater should run automatically regardless of who is logged on or the user logged on should be asked for the administrator password if they’re not logged on as an administrator. Non-admins can run Windows Update.

Please can someone let me know if this is a known issue or whether I’m missing something.
