Why does this happen? The update downloads ok, but would be nice if the progress bar did its job, and let me know how progress is progressing!
A known issue. To see progress open View Active Connections under Firewall → Common Tasks.
Sure I can view how much it has downloaded under Firewall → common tasks (good tip) but that’s still really not much use without knowing how much it needs to download (I just re-installed CIS since the old one wouldn’t connect to the internet, and I’m beginning to wonder how long the first virus update is going to take!)
