I have unresolveable update problems with the firewall. The updater downloads until 30%. Then it stops and writes an error. Is it possible to manually update the firewall?
I had a similar problem with the last big update. After I disabled on-access scanning on my antivirus (in my case CAVS 2 beta) and clicked the updater button on the main firewall menu the update went smoothly.
If this does not work for you then you may have to uninstall the firewall and then re-install the latest version from the Comodo website.

The firewall does not come with a feature for preserving settings after uninstall (at least I don’t think it does). The following topic may help:

No, backups are not supported yet… perhaps version 3…
For now, there’s also a script available here: https://forums.comodo.com/index.php/topic,2366.0.html to make a registry backup of all the settings at once.
To do so you’ll need to set the FW to Not protect its own registry settings (Security/Advanced/Misc), and to Allow All, while doing the “export” and also the “restore” of the settings.
