Update fails - post_setup.sh finishes with errors

Hi Kinta,
thanks for your efforts!
Just coming week i’m not working with my Mint 13 32 bit computer. So i can’t try your solution.

When i’m back i’ll give it a try…and report my results here.

Actually i’m running Quiana 17 32 bit. Without Comodo.

Regards, jj

THANKS KINTA - your new driver.tar and especially the fix for d_child error made it! :-TU
Now everthing runs properly again. I’ll keep Comodo running on my system.
Btw. i’m still using Mint 13 Cinnamon 32 Bit with Kernel 3.2.0-77.
Thanks an best regards!

It doen’t work at all, the COMODO “Shield” stays red, so there is no way to run an update or get it 100% secure.
All this I’ve posted before https://forums.comodo.com/comodo-antivirus-for-linux-cavl/comodo-filesystem-driver-not-loaded-in-ubuntu-t110183.0.html;msg804846#msg804846
And I’m not the only one who has this problem. My system, a x64 (64 bit) Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, is on a actual status, a updates are done, so it must be a COMODO fail

thx for your help, but all the discriptions you wrote in your threads before, I’ve try it, it doesn’t work, for some reason. Not on my system
(Ubuntu 14.04 LTS x64). I did an update on the driver.tar, I also replaced it in the xxxxxxx/Comodo/ folder. Nothing happens, so far.

On the end of the action with the Terminal I always get the info RedirFS kernel modules installation failed
Don’t know what happens :frowning:

Dear zerberos.

Please show me the post-setup.sh and fix_rebuild_driver.sh log.

Hello dear KINTA-JAPAN

No it works fine, thanks for your help and the instructions, again.
It was my mistake: I didn’t copy the driver.tar and the fix_rebuild_driver.sh - I did extracted the files :o in the folders; and this was not working, for a fact.

Today I tryed your instructions again and it was perfecti - thx again.

Here the way I did it:

Download driver.tar(redirfs 0.11E12A)
Download fix_rebuild_driver.sh

Replace driver.tar to /opt/COMODO
Copy fix_rebuild_driver.sh to /opt/COMODO

sudo chmod +x /opt/COMODO/fix_rebuild_driver.sh

cd /opt/COMODO

sudo ./fix_rebuild_driver.sh

After I restart the system and updated my Comodo, the shield was green ;D

Cheers Rolf

dear zerberos

I was relieved (^-^)

Do you have any idea why the SMTP Mail Gateway always show me 0 Delivered / Inbound - Outbound, even if I’ve received mails?
I thought it s counting the mailtraffic. But that was also before, when the shield was still red.
I am not so sure about the Host-Settings

Not important, just a nosy question :o

Drar zerberos

I’m similar, too (-_-?
Please check your mail header.

Can you find this?
It may be a little different…
