Update error message 109

HI! I’ve just downloaded the Firewall and when I click on the “updater” button and then on “start”, the upgrade process starts but goes only to 50 % before I get error message 109 telling me “Could not complete update process”. Would someone know how to fix this? Thanks! Yves

LOL… I just followed those FAQ URLs… for a 109 error, bloody useless. Unless you’re blocking SVCHOST (which causes a 106 error), then the bottom line is: Please try again, busy severs. If your problem persists I’ll PM the Admin. Other than that, which version of CFP do you have? You might have the latest anyway.

I’ve just been reminded by Gaby (thanks Gabi :slight_smile: ), that if MSIE is set to work off-line, then this can also generate a 106 error. Probably not your issue bouy3493, since you get 50% downloaded. But, since I just dissed our existing FAQs on this, an important point to remember.
