Update error - always receive message error 109

Hello! I’m sorry by the quality of my english.

I’m using the version 3.13.126709.581 of CIS.

There are more than 10 days that I try to update to new version, but always receive the error message 109 when downloading this update. The error occurs when download is in progress, always before 54% of total download. The server doesn’t permit to continue from the stop point, and I can’t find other way to download this update.

With this version that I am using, I can’t update the Firewall (error 109) and also can’t update the Antivirus (always start at 30% and stopped at 30%).

You can download the latest version from COMODO Internet Security 3.14.130099.587 released .

Then export your current configuration from under Miscellaneous → Manage My Configurations. Store the configuration in a folder that is not in the CIS installation folders (this way it will not get erased when uninstalling CIS). After the clean installation you can import your old configuration again.

Now uninstall, reboot and run this clean up tool. Now install CIS again.
