I would like to upgrade the firwall from 3.5…432, but I read in the release notes that this is a two step fase for Vista users. That info is a bit to compact for me. Could anyone tell me:
if I can use Comodo Auto Update (it keeps warning me there is un pudate available)
do i still have to login as Admin to get the update installed
does Auto Update support those 2 steps by itself (so it will find another update after the first) or is it better to download anything manually?
Hello, you must log in as admin to apply the update…
And the CIS automatic updater will take care of everything for you, just click “yes” to the update while in admin account… Do a restart, search for updates again let CIS update, do an other restart… =)
After that you will have the latest 3.8 version hopefully!
=) one other option is to do a clean install, but you should not need to do that… The updater works fine mostly! =)
I think sometimes it may be the best option, it depends on pc configuration. On my pc CIS freaked out after update, I had to make clear install. But the best way is to try to update CIS.
