Why do I continue to receive a “update failed, no internet connection” when I try to update?
Are you trying to update the AV database or the program?
Hi, and thank you for your reply…The answer is, I am trying to update the data base.
I forgot to ask what version of CIS you are using. When using 3.9 or older you cannot update the AV database anymore because of a change in the AV update format.
Try and add http://*comodo.com to the trusted websites in Internet Explorer, that might just solve the problem.
I am not an expert in using a computer, so would you please elucidate as it refers to CIS…Thanks so much!
To know what version of CIS you are using go to Miscellaneous → About. It will look like on the image.
