ok, i don’t know whether firefox using localhost but i’ll leave it in there just in chance. the local host was added when i installed comodo not when i installed firefox.
regarding v4, i’ve clicked on check for updates and it states i have no available updates. i do not wish for comodo to update without me asking or telling me what its about to do. should i disable updates? i’d rather keep it on if theres going to be further updates to v3.
Why have comodo upgraded to v4 with these problems? the v3 looks and works better, or are their security flaws in v3? ■■■■ i’m confused!
sandboxing abilities shall be a very great progress…the day when they shall work as, like being said elsewhere in this forum, they are supposed to keep your running software to get infected by malicious contents, but don’t achieve this goal today.
Waiting for this, i am letting others fight with what is only, at the day speaking, a beta version.
Like i said, there won’t be, maybe excepting the viral base i am not concerned with, any further firewall/defense+ update, and you can (and must) see the details of the proposed download before accepting whatever.
