first time this has happened to me, just got a pop up saying comodo needs to shut down due to an error, send error report, clicked it, it then said something about a dump file but I wanted to get the firewall running again so I didn’t reading properly. is there anyway of me viewing and uploading whatever the crash was? I done a diagnostic once restarted and it didn’t find anything wrong.

Maybe you could try a manual dump.
If I remember well the procedure :
reboot
after the initial blabla but before the loading of windows push the ctrl key and press 2 times the scroll lock key
you’ll have a blue screen and just after your PC will make a memory dump.
