After problems with Comodo anti virus as stated in a previous post. I tried uninstalling with all the methods given on this Site with no luck. I thought I would have to reformat.
However I successfully uninstalled doing the following and thought it may succeed for others too although every computer is different.

Ran the program CCleaner - Tools - Uninstall and it uninstalled the program

Ran the Program RegSeeker -“Find in Registry” to remove left over bits.
Having done the above I then found that I could not download Email or connect to the internet due to “Windows Socket Initialization Failed”
To solve this I ran a small Utility called WinsockxpFix which repaired the socket failure and everything is now okay.
All the above Programs are free on the net.
